If you want to get under the skin of New Zealand, experience things few travelers see, and break away from the mould, then jump onboard - we would love to have you!

Lonely Planet has voted New Zealand the hottest destination two years running. Mate, this place is a must-see, no arguments. But why tour the country with Haka Tours?
1. One word – price.
You would be hard pushed to get close to doing this type of tour any cheaper. We don’t rent any expensive high street retail space and we don’t pay marketing experts thousands of dollars to define us – we already know who we are. Because we don’t waste your money on these things, we can afford to put a much higher percentage towards your tour. This is the true low cost yet high impact NZ adventure tour hands down and we aren’t ashamed to boast about it!2. Kiwi-owned and operated.
No multi-national corporation selling you a watered-down imitation about a country they barely know. We are New Zealand specialists – we do not operate tours anywhere else in the world and have no plans to! We love our country and take immense pride in showing you around.3. We maximise your touring experience!
The great thing abou t touring with Haka is that we don’t just show you New Zealand’s key destinations, but we also take you off-the-beaten-track and let you e xplore some of the country’s hidden gems along the way. Since we are always exploring new places, our tour itinerary is continuously being evaluated, modified and improved upon. Many of our favourite spots are unlikely to be places you would find if travelling alone!4. 100% flexible.
Customise your tour with whatever activities you want to do – we won’t force you into anything! – upgrade your accommodation to a private room, or add on extra nights before or after your tour. Purchase additional trips ranging from 3 nights in the Bay of Islands to a day in Milford Sound. All bases are covered, and if you aren’t sure about anything, just ask.5. Extreme Activity Packs!
"Activity-Specific" Packs allow you to surf, skydive, white-water raft, bungy or ski/snowboard in up to six different locations whilst on tour! "Tour-Specific" Packs are purposely designed to suit your tour and make the best out of your time. And the best thing? All packs are discounted and activities are suitable for all levels of experience.6. Small group tours
Think more "exciting road trip" than "long dull coach journey". Our objective is to have crews of like-minded people, pulled together from the four corners of the globe by the common aim of experiencing the wonders of New Zealand! Having an average size of 8-12 people allows us to make your tour personal, flexible and unforgettable. What’s more, you will leave having made a great group of amazing friends.7. Improve yourself!
Our surf and snow tours have an instructional focus. Our thought behind these tours is to allow you to tour New Zealand and get more than just a polaroid snap! Imagine returning home having learnt a whole new sport or improving on the skills you already have!8. First-rate guides
Haka has qualified tour managers who are passionate, experienced and bursting with knowledge about New Zealand. They will go out of their way to make sure you have the time of your life! Our guides are a mixture of professional snowboard judges, master divers, surfboard shapers and good all around kiwis passionate about their country!9. Forget long, tiring journeys
New Zealand may be beautiful and the view from the tour bus constantly stunning, but we don’t want to tire you with too much driving. Your tour guide will break up every journey with unique and interesting stops along the way. Some of these are included within the tour price, and everything else is either free or very low cost (and optional).10. Our stamps of approval
We are currently undergoing assessment for Qualmark endorsement, New Zealand tourism’s official mark of quality. This will confirm what we already know – that we have been approved as professional and trustworthy, and you can book and tour with us in complete confidence. We are also a member of TIA, the Tourist Industry Association of New Zealand, and will be exhibiting at this year’s TRENZ in June which is the largest tradeshow showcasing premier NZ tourism businesses. We have also been selected by the likes of Quiksilver and other large lifestyle brands to show their pro athletes New Zealand. When the pro's are choosing you, then you must be doing something right!
Finally, if by some bizarre reason you are still not convinced(!), take a look at some of previous tour members’ feedback and check out our Facebook page for photographs, videos and a whole community of people who came along for the ride.
