Where you lay your head at night is a key part of your enjoyment of your tour. You need to feel rested and comfortable after a day taking in all the beautiful sights of New Zealand.
We’ll help you customise your tour plan to select the best accommodation for your group and your itinerary. From hostels to five-star hotels, farm stays or tree-house stays, B&Bs or tiny houses – the choice is yours, and we’ll ensure it fits your budget.
We partner with hundreds of accommodation providers throughout New Zealand, and can find you quality places to stay from remote rainforest retreats and tiny houses with beach views, to house boats and holiday parks.
As every guest is different, every tour may require different accommodation styles. Some of our tour guests like to include a range of accommodation styles on tour – spending some nights in cheaper accommodation and the last few nights in upmarket accommodation; while others like to travel 4-star all the way. You decide what you want and we will do all we can to make it happen.
We know accommodation and are so invested in the New Zealand tourism industry that we have our own upmarket backpacker lodges nationwide and a three-star and four-star hotel in Auckland city. Where appropriate, your tour account manager may suggest you stay in Haka accommodation as we know that we can deliver quality at competitive rates.
Haka Hotel Suites is our New Zealand owned and operated 4-star accommodation located in central Auckland. Our two bedroom suites offer apartment-style living with a large kitchenette and a balcony with harbour views.
Often located on the main tourist driving routes, motels and motor lodges offer affordable accommodation with self-contained kitchenettes, ensuite bathrooms and laundry facilities, making them ideal for family or group travel. Many motels offer spas and swimming pools and some offer a full breakfast service.
From budget 3-star to luxury 5-star options and with a range of room types such as standard, deluxe, superior, and executive suites, our team will find the best hotel suited to your tour.
Providing the flexibility of self-catering facilities combined with the quality of a hotel stay, apartment-style accommodation may be best suited for your group tour.
There’s nothing quite like being close to nature, especially when you add a touch of luxury to your camping and turn it into glamping! We work with a number of glamping sites throughout New Zealand – including some high country sites – and our guests have always enjoyed the experience. Holiday parks and campsites are usually located close to the coast or rivers and lakes with private caravans or cabins and shared amenities. Our tour advisors will recommend this option if it suits your family group’s tour itinerary.
Often situated in spectacular hideaway locations – including remote retreats not accessible by road – these unique properties will leave you with unforgettable New Zealand memories of warm hospitality, superior facilities and premier comfort with breakfast and dining options that make the most of local produce. Tree houses, houseboats, converted grain silos, wine-maker’s cottages, alpine chalets, eco-friendly sanctuaries and high country farm stays will add that extra special touch of character to your New Zealand stay.
Hapuku Lodge offers premier accommodation including a two-bedroom treehouse (perfect for families) situated at the foot of the Kaikoura Ranges in the South Island.
